...at this minute the Senate is voting on a minimum wage amendment to the
bankruptcy bill. Kennedy Amendment would raise minimum wage from
5.15 to 7.25 over a period of 26 months-
The amendment requires 60 aye votes to pass.
How did your Senator vote ?

remainder 460. per month
115. per week.> groceries,etc
nays won > not passed
49 Senators said no. ( find a cheaper apartment -give up the cell phone-turn down the thermostat ) -

no one seemed at all surprised at this outcome.
Interestingly the time factors coincide with 18 mos) 2006 senate elections and the(26 mos. 2008 >national was this just a dog and pony show ?
